Hello! My name is Mrs. Silva. This is my 3rd year teaching at Clovis North and my 8th year in the teaching profession. I’m proud to call myself a Clovis North Bronco!
My Background
I grew up in Clovis, California and attended Clovis High School. I received my B.A. in English from California State University, Fresno and my teaching credential from Fresno Pacific University. I live in Clovis, CA with my husband of five years (Jayme), our two-year-old son (Jude), and our four fur-children (Dixie, Bandit, Whisky, and Toby).
Teaching Philosophy
As a teacher, I think it is important to exemplify what I desire for my students- to become lifelong learners. For this reason, I completed my Master's Degree in Education with an emphasis in Reading and Language Arts though Fresno State in 2015. Teaching is not only my career, it is my passion. My goal as a teacher is to help each and every one of my students to be successful in and out of the classroom.
